Based in Montréal, Roland Cody Larocque is a Canadian cinematographer whose work moves fluidly between narrative storytelling and visually driven commercial work. With over 14 years of on-set experience across the grip, electric, VFX, and camera departments, his eye is shaped by a deep technical foundation and an instinctive feel for light, texture, and composition. Known for a grounded, cinematic style that embraces both precision and spontaneity, he brings a painterly approach to lensing human stories — whether in a scripted scene or a stylized brand piece.

His commercial work has supported global brands including Ubisoft, Canon, Olay, Revlon, Cerave, Danone, and WWF, blending cinematic storytelling with commercial precision.

A strong collaborator on set, he is attuned to the demands of VFX-heavy productions and is adept at integrating classic cinematography practice with VFX-integrated workflows.
